Google Maps Reviews
What customers say about a place: rating spread, what they complain about and praise, and the bad reviews the owner never answered.
A competitor's Google Maps reviews are customer research they paid for and you read free. Customers write things there they never tell staff: how long they waited, which dish did not look like the photo, and which other venue they are comparing against.
The tool runs in two steps. Picking the place is free: you paste a Google Maps link or type the venue name with its city, and the system shows the name and address so you can confirm it is the right one. Only after you confirm does the paid run start, and it takes nothing but the chosen place — so it cannot charge you and then fail on the input.
What you put in
- Step one, free: a Google Maps link, or the venue name with its city. The system shows the name and address for you to confirm.
- Step two: how many reviews to read — pick one of the available sizes.
What you get back
- Rating spread and average rating across the reviews read.
- The themes customers complain about, and the themes they praise.
- How many negative reviews the owner never answered, and the answered share.
- Sentiment per review.
- The date of the oldest review read.
- A table of reviews with the display name and the text.
The limit on one run
- One run reads at most 200 reviews. For most independent venues in Vietnam that is nearly all of them. For a chain, run it per branch.
- It runs in the background. You submit the request and come back for the result.
- A word has to appear at least twice to count as a theme, so one stray review cannot create one.
What this tool does not do
- For review authors there is only a display name and the text. No email, no phone number, no author profile.
- It does not answer reviews for you, and it cannot remove any review.
- It does not reveal the venue's revenue or customer numbers.
