Service delivery, termination and refunds

This is a service, not goods
CIA sells credits for running tools that analyse public social-media data. Nothing physical is shipped, so there is no delivery and no returns. The service is provided entirely on this website.
How the service is delivered
Once the payment gateway confirms, credits reach your wallet immediately and can be used at once. You pick a tool, enter what you want analysed and press run; the credit cost of that run is shown on the button before you press it. Results are stored in your account.
How long a run takes
Most tools return results in a few seconds to under a minute. Heavier tools run in the background and tell you when they are done — the report page updates itself, so you do not have to wait on screen. The competitor-watch plan runs on a schedule across the 30 days of the plan.
Automatic credit refund
If a run returns no result at all, its credits are refunded to your wallet immediately. You do not have to ask, and each refund is a line in your account history.
Partial results
A run that returns at least one result counts as used and is not refunded. A channel may have less public data than a tool's limit, and getting less than the limit is not a fault.
Cash refunds
Purchased credits are not converted back to money unless a fault on our side prevented you from using the service. Write to [email protected] with your transaction reference; we answer within 7 working days and refund to the method you paid with.
Ending the service yourself
You can stop using the service or ask for your account to be deleted at any time through the Data request page. Unused credits do not expire, but deleting the account forfeits whatever is left and it is not converted to money — spend it before asking for deletion.
When we end the service
We may suspend or close an account that breaks the Service conditions and limits, and we will say why by e-mail to the account address. If we end it and you broke nothing, unused credits are refunded in money at the price you paid.
If the site shuts down
If we stop providing the service, we give at least 30 days notice by e-mail and refund unused credits at the price you paid.
