Beauty creators in Vietnam: building a candidate list

Beauty is the most crowded creator niche in Vietnam, so searching for "cosmetics review" returns hundreds of channels, most of them unrelated to your product. A more effective approach is searching by problem keyword — what a buyer types when they are annoyed about something specific.
Product keywords versus problem keywords
| Do not type | Type instead |
|---|---|
| sunscreen | sunscreen that does not run when you sweat |
| face wash | face wash for combination skin |
| serum | serum for inflamed acne |
| makeup | ten-minute makeup for work |
The right-hand column returns fewer channels, but those channels are talking about exactly what your customer is searching for — and they are hunted less by other brands, so prices are more reasonable.
Find creators — 15 credits per run, 3 pages of results. Run three or four problem keywords per product, because each surfaces a different group. See also finding creators by niche keyword.
Two things to check specifically in this niche
Whether the channel discusses ingredients. Beauty has two very different kinds of channel: those that talk about how something feels and those that talk about ingredients. Their audiences buy for different reasons. Read the comments to find out which kind your audience is — comments analysis, 12 credits, 300 comments.
Whether they have already reviewed a competing product, and what they said. If they praised a rival last month, praising yours will carry less weight. Check by reading the 60 most recent videos in channel report, 5 credits.
The high-engagement trap in this niche
Beauty runs a higher average engagement rate than many niches, because the content provokes reactions easily. Which means 6% here is not equivalent to 6% in tech or finance.
So do not compare against a platform-wide benchmark. Build your own from 8–10 channels in the same niche, the way described in what counts as a good rate.
Boundaries to remember
CIA does not find email addresses or personal phone numbers for creators, and sells no lists of people to contact. You read the channel's numbers and reach out through whatever public channel they published themselves. Every figure is an estimate from public data the platform displays.
Frequently asked questions
How many candidates to start with? About 30 from three or four keywords, filtered down to three using the process in comparing several creators.
Can a small channel in a narrow niche actually sell? Often better than a large general one, because the audience arrived for that exact problem. But small numbers are hard to measure, so use a unique discount code.
Can I search creators by province or city? The tool searches by keyword, so the indirect route is to include a place name in the keyword. Results will be thinner, and that is normal.
