Most channels that lose engagement do not lose it to the algorithm. They run out of ideas and start posting to fill a schedule. Public data helps in two specific places: finding your next topic in your own viewers' comments, and finding out which of your last 45 videos actually held attention. This page arranges the articles in that order.

Where to start

You need footage. Read downloading TikTok videos and when it is allowed before you download anything. The copyright section there is not a formality.

You are out of ideas. Read reading comments to find your next topic.

Your channel is dipping. Read four things to check before blaming the algorithm.

You want better openings. Read the first three seconds.

The principle behind this whole topic

Do not start from "which trend is hot". Start from the question your customer is typing into the comments that nobody has answered. A video that answers one specific question almost always holds attention better than a video chasing a trending sound.

The tools that go with it

Job Tool Price Limit per run
Download without watermark Video download 1 credit 1 video
Read one video's comments Comments analysis 12 credits 300 comments
Read your own channel data Channel report 5 credits 60 most recent videos

The download tool requires you to tick a box confirming your rights to the content. The software cannot know who owns a video, so that boundary is the user's, not the program's.

Three things CIA does not do here

It does not download YouTube music or media streams — that endpoint was removed from the system over copyright exposure. It does not find contact details for commenters: for comments and reviews there is only a display name and the text. And it does not check whether an account is still active or has been banned.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download somebody else's video as reference footage? Only with permission, or as a single personal-study copy not for commercial purposes. Details in the copyright article.

Does comments analysis label sentiment? No. It returns comments and repeated phrases. Assigning sentiment to individual sentences is yours to do, because machines get Vietnamese nuance wrong often.

Are 45 videos enough to see a dip? For a channel posting daily that is about six weeks, enough for the current trend. For more history, run it periodically and keep the results.
