A competitor's live sessions: what to watch and when

Live selling is where competitors experiment most and reveal most: how they quote prices, how they handle hard questions, which products they push. But live sessions are not fully archived, so learning from them means being there while they happen.
The tool does exactly one thing
Live radar — 10 credits, up to 5 channels per run — tells you which channels are live right now, along with viewer count, comments and new followers in the room.
It is not a revenue leaderboard, it does not show a schedule, and it does not check whether an account is still active or banned — CIA does not build that feature.
Turning it into an observation schedule
Because it returns status at the moment you run it, the way to use it is to run it repeatedly and record:
- Pick the 5 competitors closest to you.
- Run it at three times in a day, for example noon, 8pm and 10pm.
- Do that on three days, including a weekday and a weekend day.
- Record in a table: which channel was live when, and with how many viewers.
Nine runs is 90 credits and gives you all five competitors' live pattern. See which live time slots have an audience for how to read that table.
Six things worth noting while watching
1. Which product goes up first. The order says something about their margins.
2. How they quote prices. Original price, discounted to what, bundled with what.
3. The hardest question in the room and how they answered it. The most learnable part.
4. How many people are hosting. One person, or someone reading comments alongside.
5. Session length. A four-hour session and a forty-minute one are different models.
6. Peak viewers against the start. Rising through the session means the content holds people.
Combining with other data
After a session, run comments analysis — 12 credits, 300 comments — on the replay video if they post one. Late comments are usually people who bought and came back.
And run TikTok Shop radar — 15 credits — on the product they pushed hardest, to see whether it is genuinely moving or only being pushed in live.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see live session revenue? No. No public source has that figure. You get viewer count, comments and new followers.
Why only 5 channels per run? That is the real per-run limit. To watch more, run it more times.
Do competitors know I am watching? They see one more viewer, like any viewer. The tool only reads public status.
